The development team behind Star Wars Outlaws has unveiled a detailed roadmap outlining the game's upcoming improvements and additions through November 2024. This roadmap includes the highly anticipated first story pack, alongside numerous other enhancements.

Star Wars Outlaws, featuring an original storyline set in the Star Wars universe, launched on August 30 to generally positive reviews from critics, though player reception was more mixed. Less than a month after its release, the developers announced significant updates, giving fans a clearer picture of what to expect in the coming months.

According to an announcement on the game's official Twitter account, two smaller sets of improvements will arrive in October, followed by a major update on November 21. The first update, scheduled for October 3, will primarily address bug fixes, while a second update on October 24 will introduce several quality-of-life improvements. Although Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment have not specified which bugs and features will be targeted, early patches have already addressed issues such as a glitch that required players to delete their save data to progress the story.

While these October updates aim to enhance gameplay, fans are eagerly awaiting November 21, when the paid Wild Card expansion and a free DLC update will be introduced. The Wild Card expansion will follow Kay Vess as she infiltrates a high-stakes Sabbac tournament and encounters the iconic Star Wars character Lando Calrissian. Although Lando already appears in the base game, the expansion will offer players more opportunities to engage with this beloved scoundrel.

In addition to the paid content, a free update on November 21 will bring new contracts and improvements to the game's combat and stealth systems. Players have expressed frustration with the current stealth mechanics, citing instant failure and limited options for evading enemies as major concerns. This update aims to address these issues, enhancing the overall experience for all Star Wars Outlaws players.
